Building a business can be lonely. Closing one can be even lonelier.

This is a small community in Barcelona for founders who have experienced business failure or had to close a venture, and want to connect with people who understand what that feels like.

We’re starting with an intimate gathering of 10 founders to share honest stories, hard-earned lessons, and whatever comes next. You don’t need a new startup idea or a polished comeback story to join.

Through empathy and open conversation, we hope to build meaningful friendships, and perhaps discover new ideas or opportunities together.

No pitches. No judgment. Respect for each other’s privacy.

Ten founders. Honest stories. A meal together.
Join us at Balordi in Barcelona for a small, private gathering of founders who have experienced business failure or had to close a venture.
In the first part, each of us will have up to 10 minutes to share our story: what we built, what happened, what we learned, and where we are today. Share only what you feel comfortable sharing. Everyone else will have space to listen.
In the second part, we’ll eat together and let the conversation flow—ask questions, exchange perspectives, and get to know each other beyond our businesses. Perhaps new friendships, ideas, or collaborations will emerge.
You don’t need a pitch, a success story, or a plan for what comes next. Just a willingness to listen and connect.
