The LINE group is where I share session updates, last-minute changes and reflections between meetups.

Duration: ~75 min total — about 2 × 20 min of meditation, with stretching, gentle movement and short instructions in between + optional shared light lunch after

Location: Sunken plaza of Daan Park MRT Station (大安森林公園站), Red Line — the circular garden inside the station with the curved overhang and water features. Exit through the main hall and walk down to the lower-level open plaza. We will meet near the central ring corridor.
The location is sheltered by the station's curved architecture, so the session runs in light to moderate rain. In case of typhoon or extreme weather warning, I'll post a message in the LINE group at least 2 hours before — please join the group so you don't miss it.

About this first session: Welcome — this is the launch of our group! The session is built for everyone, including complete beginners. You don't need any prior experience, you don't need to know how to sit "the right way", and you don't need to be calm or quiet-minded when you arrive. Just come as you are.
The 75 minutes are not 75 minutes of sitting still — we alternate between short instructions, gentle stretching and yoga-inspired movement, and meditation. The structure looks roughly like this:

  • Short welcome and first instruction
  • Gentle stretching to settle into the body
  • First meditation (~20 min)
  • A second round of stretching and instruction
  • Second meditation (~20 min)
  • Closing instruction

So overall about 40 minutes of actual sitting meditation, split into two manageable rounds, with movement in between. This makes it accessible even if you've never meditated before.
The practice is breath-based and body-centered. No religion, no dogma. I guide in English, with instructions in French or Chinese if helpful.
After the session, anyone who wishes can stay for a short open sharing circle (optional, no pressure to speak).

What to bring:

  • Ideally a yoga mat or a small blanket to sit on
  • A cushion or even a folded jacket works fine
  • A bottle of water
  • If you'd like to stay for our after-session picnic: a piece of fruit or a simple vegetarian dish to share (optional)

Before you come:

  • Eat light or skip breakfast — a piece of fruit is enough. A full stomach makes sitting harder.
  • Wear comfortable clothing you can stretch in.

A note on what we practice: Our focus is rest, presence and awareness. The session is gentle and beginners are very welcome. If you feel sleepy, that's just information from your body; you don't need to fight it, but the practice is about resting awake, not drifting off.

About me: I'm David, a meditation practitioner for over 10 years. I've studied across several traditions and offer simple, secular, grounded sessions for people who want to reconnect with their breath, body, and present moment.
The session is free. Just come as you are.

地點: 大安森林公園捷運站(紅線)下沉廣場 — 站內擁有弧形遮蓋、水景與環形步道的圓形花園。從主大廳走下至下層開放廣場,我們將在中央環形走廊附近集合。
此區域有捷運站弧形建築的遮蔽,小雨至中雨都可以照常進行。若遇颱風或極端天氣警報,我會在聚會前至少 2 小時於 LINE 群組公告 — 歡迎加入群組以免錯過通知。

關於此次首場聚會: 歡迎你 — 這是我們小組的首場活動!本次聚會適合所有人,包括完全沒有經驗的初學者。你不需要任何先備知識,不需要懂得「正確」的坐姿,也不需要帶著一顆平靜的心來。請以最自然的狀態前來。
這 75 分鐘並非整段靜坐不動 — 我們會交替進行簡短引導、溫和伸展、瑜伽風格的舒緩動作,以及靜坐冥想。整體結構大致如下:

  • 簡短歡迎與第一段引導
  • 溫和伸展,幫助身體安頓下來
  • 第一段靜坐冥想(約 20 分鐘)
  • 第二輪伸展與引導
  • 第二段靜坐冥想(約 20 分鐘)
  • 結尾引導

整體而言,實際靜坐時間約 40 分鐘,分為兩段較易進行的時段,中間穿插舒緩動作。這樣的安排即使你從未冥想過,也能輕鬆參與。
我們的練習以呼吸與身體覺察為核心。沒有宗教,沒有教條。我以英文引導,若有需要也可以提供法文或中文指引。
聚會結束後,願意留下的人可以加入一個簡短的開放分享圈(自由參加,不一定要發言)。

請攜帶:

  • 最好帶一張瑜伽墊或小毯子
  • 一般坐墊,甚至摺疊的外套也可以
  • 一瓶水
  • 若想留下來一起野餐:可帶一份水果或簡單的素食小菜分享(自由參加)

來之前:

  • 早餐輕食或不吃 — 一份水果就足夠。空腹較易進入狀態。
  • 穿著舒適、方便伸展的衣物。
