Is AI Dangerous?

We are returning to the topic AI. In almost every discussion we have had to date I think the topic of AI has raised its head. I think this is a good indicator of the anxiety that AI is causing for people as it threatens to upend all our lives in so many ways. We now have a chance to revisit this since we first discussed it's some time ago. Will the same issues be of concern? Are people more optimistic or are we feeling even more threatened by this new and rapidly adapting technology.
