Secret Torwood Castle & Grounds Tour + Broch & Pool Walk

Come join us for a secret tour of Torwood Castle and Grounds courtesy of its resident Warden 🏰

Plus a chance to picnic on Torwood's Knights Table 🛡️🥪

Before heading to our tour we'll walk to explore neighbouring Torwood Broch. After lunch we'll then seek out the Blue Pool and Donut before walking back to our start point 🚶

🚗 Travel

Comment in the event if you need\like a lift in someone's car. If you have a car, and are willing to take others, please comment in the event to let people know.

There are on-street options to park in Torwood.

From Stirling\Falkirk the no. 38 bus will take you to Glen Rd\ Torwood.

👨‍🦽Accessibility

This is not a recommended activity for those with mobility challenges as the event will involve 3-4miles of walking across a variety of terrain and a tour of a castle with no adaptations for accessibility

This event is not weather dependent - though the exploring beyond the Castle Tour may vary. We'll keep an eye out and hope for nice weather!

📋 Reminders

Please wear sensible footwear as there will be a variety of surfaces, some of which may be muddy.

Bring some food to enjoy at the Knights Table - you can either bring stuff just for you or somethings to share.

Double check the weather forecast before setting off, to decide on layers/waterproofs/sunglasses. We are in Scotland after all!

All guests should be accounted for in the numbers, so we know who to expect.
