NEW DATE - Beinn a' Chaorainn & Beinn Teallach Munro circuit - Strenious

Join Forth Valley Young Walkers group for a walk to do the Beinn a' Chaorainn & Beinn Teallach munro circuit.
This pair of Munros are much less visited than their better known neighbour Creag Meagaidh to the east. Their lower slopes may be boggy, but the walk along the summit ridge of Beinn a'Chaorainn is a delight.

Please note that this walk may be cancelled at short notice in case of adverse weather.

The walk is at moderate pace, easy going uphill.

Distance: 16km / 10 miles
Elevation: 1172m

Terrain: Boggy ground lower down, with a river crossing late in the walk which could be impassable in wet weather. The upper slopes give better walking due to the crossing we may deviate from the walkhighland path which will include some pathless sections.

In the event of extreme weather, we may take an alternative route. I will take that decision at least two days in advance - and notify attendees.
