About us
Welcome to the Stitch By Stitch Beginner Sewing Social. I started this group because I know how intimidating it can be to stare at a sewing machine for the first time, or to feel lost when trying to follow a pattern. Whether you have never touched a needle or are just looking for a low-pressure environment to finally finish those projects you started months ago, this is a space for us to learn and grow together.
We meet regularly to share tips, troubleshoot common sewing frustrations, and work on our projects in good company. You do not need to be an expert to join; in fact, the goal here is to ask questions, learn from our mistakes, and enjoy the process of making things by hand. Bring whatever you are working on, a project you have been meaning to start, or just yourself if you want to see how things work before diving in. I look forward to meeting you and seeing what we can create.
