Picnic & BBQ Recipes - from a MODERN Cookbook

For May let's get together for a Picnic!
For this meetup we've chosen three modern cookbooks to explore:

Food with Friends - by Leela Cyd
The Outdoor Table - by April McKinney
Perfect Day for a Picnic - by Tori Finch

These are all available from our St Louis County Library,
Perfect Day is also on the internet's archive.org and they are at several used book outlets.

Please make a dish suitable for a picnic or BBQ from one of these cookbooks and bring it to share with the group. Let us know ahead of time what you plan to cook.

Plates, forks, napkins, etc will be provided for sampling. Please bring
a $2 to cover the cost of supplies and the park rental
Please dress for the weather as we'll be outdoors in a covered picnic pavilion
