Try a Soup Recipe from a Modern Cookbook

For this meetup let's try out soup recipes from the Every Season is Soup Season Cookbook by Shelly Westerhausen Worcel
The book is available on the hoopla library site.

This cookbook was published in 2023 - and like most modern cookbooks it's filled with wonderful photographs and good instructions.

Each recipe is crafted to let abundant, delicious, hearty vegetables shine (with optional instructions on adding meat), and includes two spinoffs (a remix to dress things up for a fancy dinner party, and a way to turn the leftovers into something totally new).

Pick one of the soup recipes from the cookbook, make it and bring samples to our meetup for all to try. We found the soup stays warm enough in a bowl or in the crockpot (no need to plug it in)

Please bring a small ladle or serving spoon and let us know ahead of time what you plan to cook.

I will provide small bowls for sampling, spoons, bread and butter.

Our host location, Global Brew, will let us bring food in, but no outside drinks. Please support the brewery by purchasing your beverages from them.
