This is a second run at this presentation and lab. After RSVPing, you will be able to fill out a form to request an individual invite to your Google account to the Google Meet / Hangouts room. This is to prevent abuse, unfortunately. Also, the name you sign in with in the meeting must match the one you RSVP'd with on Meetup.

I will briefly describe Oauth2 and then demo integrating it into a simple Spring Boot web application. This demonstration will be a live follow-along, so have a GitHub account, and optionally also a Google Cloud account ready. Also, have a system with Oracle JDK 17 and either IntelliJ IDEA or Spring Tool Suite installed and ready. If you are using Spring Tool Suite on a Windows 11 system, be sure to test everything works by completing the Hello World tutorial with Maven.
