Meetup starts at 6:30pm, with 30 minutes of social time. Beginning at 7pm, there will be a presentation on Ext JS (http://www.sencha.com/products/extjs/) by Mitchell Simoens (http://mitchellsimoens.com/).

Ext JS is an OOP (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Object-oriented_programming) JavaScript framework boasting a class-based architecture with 150 UI components, a strong data package and MVC/MVVM application structure. Ext JS is used by more than half of the Fortune 100 companies and is the leading standard for building business-centric Web applications. Mitchell will give an introductory presentation, including live examples of how to build a simple application with Ext JS.

Starting about 8:30pm, we'll move into a hacking session to experiment with the material that's been presented, and with JavaScript and Node.js in general.

Following the presentation, there will be one random drawing for a free two-day conference pass to St. Louis SecureWorld 2014. Don't miss your chance to win!

SyllogisTeks (http://syllogisteks.com/) will be sponsoring complementary sodas and sandwiches, and you're welcome to BYOB, so come hungry, come thirsty, bring your laptop and be ready to code!
