M&M Series: Men and Masculinity

Welcome to the first gathering of M&M: Men and Masculinity, a community space for meaningful connection, reflection, and growth around the experience of being a man in today's world.
This group is open to all people who identify as a man, including cisgender men, queer men, trans men, and masc.-presenting nonbinary folks.

We hope to create an inclusive, respectful, and supportive environment where we can explore what masculinity means to us and how that interacts with a patriarchal society. We have a lot to learn and a lot to unpack, so we hope this first meeting would be a space to get to know each other with games followed by setting ground rules and assumptions to make sure we set the groundwork for what an inclusive space should look like.

What to expect at our first meeting:

• Overview of the group’s purpose
• Guided introductions and community agreements
• A short discussion prompt to get us talking
• Space for open conversation and listening

No prior experience having these discussions or preparation needed—just bring yourself.
