This is Part 3 in our series about "class," a series created for Asian Americans. We will be reflecting on all we've learned, experienced, and process everything as a group. Previously, we talked about our relationship to class, why talking about it makes us comfortable, and how class intersects with our Asian identity. We also participate in activism opportunities challenging class systems.
At the end of our reflections, the work does not stop. Continue to ask yourself: "How can I advocate for other people or challenge class systems?" We encourage the following readings to help continue the journey:
- 7 Labor Activists You Should Know About for Asian Pacific American Heritage Month
- Key facts about Asian Americans living in poverty
We will have 30 minutes of free time at the end to just hang out! Snacks will be provided!
