Craft Beer Society Ghost Ride

A few of us from this group have joined the Ghost Ride over the years. The ride occurs every full moon leaving Tower Grove Park around 8pm. It is a really fun night ride with unique stops and routes. We picked this date since it is the only full moon falling on a Fri or Sat until November and the rides typically end late at night/early morning.

So what does this have to do with craft beer? There is a byob gathering before the ride at the Turkish Pavilion at Tower Grove Park and multiple fun bar stops along the way. Riders are encouraged to patronize the businesses we stop at. When the weather is nice, this ride can have several hundred riders - a great opportunity to meet new people and ride around the city in a big group.

Although the start location and time is known, only the organizer knows the route which is different each month and usually ends with a party at a pop-up venue somewhere in the city. You can stay to the end of the ride (there is no posted end time) or peel off at any time. You will need to bike from that point to home (or where you parked). Bring lights and pair up with a group that plans to end about the same time and return to the same location.

We plan on getting to Tower Grove Park around 7:30pm and the ride typically leaves at 8:30pm. We will post when we get there and can ride together and coordinate on when different groups want to head back.
