Wolpertinger 2026

Come join at Wolpertinger 2026 at the Urban Chestnut Grove Bierhall! General admission tickets are $35 (+taxes) each and get you unlimited samples from a fantastic list of 40+ area breweries. There will also be food for purchase and live music. I have personally purchased general admission tickets, but feel free to get VIP if you want.

As with any beerfest, it can be hard to try to keep a group together, but the fact that this occurs at Urban Chestnut, it can be easier to find each other. I will post when I arrive and what I am wearing in the comments, so follow those to try to find me; I recommend doing the same and we will do our best to try to all find each other. Be patient, drink beer, and we will eventually see each other at the event!

Our favorite mythical Bavarian creature is returning for UCBC's 15th Anniversary Party! Celebrate the spirit & community of craft beer! If you're asking yourself, "What is a Wolpertinger?", he is a mythical German creature similar to the American Jackalope...but with wings...and lederhosen. When he's not partying at Urban Chestnut, Wolpertinger is rumored to live in the forests of Bavaria.

General Admission: $35/person, must be 21+

The festival features over 35 breweries throughout our entire Grove Brewery & Bierhall for guests to sample beers from all afternoon, and delicious food available for purchase from our kitchen partner, Fordo's Killer Pizza. The party concludes with a parade led by Red and Black Brass Band and Wolpertinger himself!

Mark your calendars for Sunday, February 1st, and plan to join us from 1-5pm. It's the perfect ending to your dry January…or just a really fun Sunday!
