Intro to Express.js

Our next meeting will take place on February 10 at 7:00 pm. We will again be virtual for this one (See details below).

Join us this month to take a look at Express.js, the wildly popular web framework for Node.js. In this talk we will discuss the base principles of Express and show examples of some of its more helpful features. Even though Express bills itself as a minimalist web framework, there appears to be a fair amount of content to cover. So we may use several meetings to get a fuller look at Express.

Keep in mind, this will be my (Bryan's) first in-depth look at a web framework. So there are still questions on my part. If you have experience with Express and can answer some of these questions, then you HAVE to attend (just kidding... mostly).

  Bryan Jones is a Senior DBA (also working in DevOps) at Lumeris. In his spare time he co-organizes several meetup groups. And when not doing that, he underperforms in a handful of Fantasy Football leagues.
