This is a ZOOM history talk (NOT a Cemetery walking tour).
Note: If you are also a member of the St Louis Historic Sites group, we do a walking tour of this event (we just went in Oct 2025 and will go again in 2033).

"St. Louisans and their role in “the war to end all wars" was significant. Participation in battles such as Château-Thierry, Soissons, and the Argonne Forest would see the loss of life of native sons while making America a world power for the first time. The Marines at Belleau Wood will earn a reputation still known throughout the world today, but at what cost? Even some of our local businesses and institutions played essential roles in the War effort. Learn some of their stories–all connected with St. Louis and Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum–during our free online Zoom presentation. Reservations are required, so please sign up now!"

This free online presentation runs from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
