Bellefontaine Cemetery Draw

This event will be canceled in the event of rain.

This is an event to socialize and draw the statues and landscapes at the Bellefontaine Cemetery. We will meet at the picnic bench under the tree to the left of the entrance (see the map pin), then wait 5 minutes for others to join. People are encouraged to spread at as they please. We recon at the same spot at 11:45 to share what we drew.

This is not associated with the cemetery and is not instructor led. Please be respectful of the space and people.

Considerations:

• Funerals: Most of the cemetery is historic with plenty to see and draw. If there is a funeral, please give them space and find another place to work.
• Bugs: There are a lot. Bring spray.
• Sun: The cemetery is an arboretum with plenty of shade, but you may want to bring sunscreen. You should also bring water.
• Seating: There are almost no benches or seating. Bring a chair if this makes you uncomfortable. You can also drive and use your car as seating.
• Parking & Entry: The cemetery is free to enter. You can park at the entrance or along the roads inside the cemetery.
