Zoning Advocacy

Details
Zoning governs the kind of places that can be built, the density of our cities, the affordability of our homes, and the diversity of our local economy.
The City of St. Louis is revamping its Zoning Ordinance right now through the ZOUP (Zoning Ordinance Upgrade). The Zoning Advocacy is committed to ensuring that the City's new ordinance allows for dense, affordable, economically diverse development that is friendly to transit, cyclists, and pedestrians.
Current Initiatives:
Creating a Policy Letter to send to decision makers.
Finding potential allies.
Educating the Urbanist Community on Zoning Issues.
Aiding the ZOUP team in promoting public events.
Advocating at public meetings to support short-term zoning reforms.
NO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OF ZONING NEEDED
