What: Petition launch for the St Louis Transit Riders Working Group

Why: Buses on the 70-Grand, the highest ridership bus route in the state of Missouri, are often delayed, cancelled, or too crowded to pick up passengers. This means the thousands of people who rely on the 70 for transportation can't get to where they need to go and suffer from missed opportunities. We're pushing Metro to improve the route to ensure buses arrive on time and with increased capacity, providing a better transportation experience for people who don't have the option of driving themselves.

UPDATE: The ride-along will not take place due to a MetroLink closure between Forest Park and Grand stations on June 14th. Metro is providing replacement bus service along the route. If you're riding transit to the event, plan extra time to get there if you rely on MetroLink.
