WordCamp San Francisco Viewing Party

WordCamp San Francisco Viewing Party

Details

We're going to host a free viewing party for WordCamp San Francisco (http://2014.sf.wordcamp.org)! They're streaming all presentations (http://2014.sf.wordcamp.org/schedule/) across their two day WordCamp. October 25-26.

This is one of the biggest WordCamps and their schedule is full of awesome presenters (http://2014.sf.wordcamp.org/speakers/).

We're going to use the amazing space at Nebula Coworking (http://nebulastl.com) at the corner of Jefferson and Cherokee St.. There will be two rooms, one streaming the Developer-focused track, the other the User-focused track.

We invite you to join us for both days. The presentations start at 11am (9am Pacific) each day - so get there early! You can stay all day and hang out in between sessions, just like an in-person WordCamp. Check out the full schedule (http://2014.sf.wordcamp.org/schedule/) and RSVP today!

We'd like to have light breakfast options, snacks and drinks. If you can pitch in, please let us know. Otherwise, bring your own substance!

If you can help out, here's a list where you can let us all know what you'll bring (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xRXOXTAPnK9SGRPKQLr40Z5IkB6rcc84msnGmPUFr8E/edit?usp=sharing).

For lunch we're going to hit the town and enjoy the amazing restaurants along Cherokee. We're working on getting some recommendations and menus for some of our favorite haunts.

Here's a few places to start!

• Mud House - http://themudhousestl.com/

• La Vallesana - http://www.yelp.com/biz/neveria-la-vallesana-saint-louis

• Master Pieza - http://masterpieza.com

This is a low key event. Come as you are, relax, and soak up some amazing knowledge.

Parking is behind Nebula and across Jefferson next to the Popeye's.

Look for Nebula's door between the Family Dollar and the Nail Salon (It's well hidden!).

We'd love to have some door prizes and give-aways as well. T-shirts, mugs, stickers, etc. We have some sponsorship opportunities here on meetup.com, stlwp.org, and at our monthly meetings.

Volunteers are needed. Sponsors are needed.
