Session 3: Value Investing (Review Previous Material, Brainstorming and Q&A)

• This event will be priced at $5 per person to attend. If there is less than 10 attendees then this will be the last time I will run this meetup. Payment details will be provided at the event.
• We will be building off the second session, briefly reviewing the ratios and case studies we have covered.
• We encourage everyone that is looking to attend to find one ASX listed company and try and calculate the ROA, ROE, Market Capitalisation, FCF (Free Cash Flow), and Debt Coverage Ratio. Don't worry if you don't have time or struggle in undertaking this, it is not mandatory.
• We would like to cover again (very briefly) how different ASX products work (equities, bonds and hybrid securities).
• Finally, the last part of the session will look at the theoretical development of investment ideas. This will first look at comprehending benchmarks, fields of competency, global and national occurrences an then the respective ideas that members may be able to derive.
• All the above will be followed up with general Q and A.
