Rovo Hackathon: From AI Curiosity to Working Agents
Join us for a hands-on Rovo Hackathon designed to move beyond AI theory and into practical, usable outcomes. This session introduces Atlassian Rovo and AI Agents and then gives you the time, guidance, and structure to design, build, and run your own agents.

Whether you’re exploring AI for Service Management, software delivery, governance, or internal operations, this event will help you understand where AI agents add real value - and how to build them responsibly.

What to Expect
Introduction to AI & Rovo - We kick off with a concise introduction to:

What AI Agents are (and what they are not)

What Atlassian Rovo is and how it fits into the Atlassian platform

Where agents make sense: use cases, triggers, automations, and playbooks. This section includes a live demo to show real examples in action.

Your Turn: Plan – Build – Run
After a short break, it’s time to get hands-on.

Participants work in pairs

Identify and plan a practical use case

Build a Rovo agent

Test, iterate, and improve with on-site support

This is a guided build session, focused on learning by doing—not just watching.

Showcase: Demo & Share - Teams present what they built:

The problem or use case they addressed

How their agent works

What they learned along the way

You’ll leave with inspiration, concrete examples, and ideas you can reuse in your own environment.

Wrap-Up & Next Steps
We close with:

Key takeaways and lessons learned

Governance and good-practice tips for using AI agents

Collection of use cases for future reuse

Who Should Attend

Atlassian users curious about AI and Rovo

Service Management, DevOps, and Platform teams

Anyone who wants to move from “AI sounds interesting” to “we built something useful”

No prior AI or Rovo experience required—just curiosity and a willingness to experiment.
