Tech Talk: Building a Real-Time Lakehouse on Iceberg (Without Losing Your Mind)
Speaker: Yingjun Wu (CEO, RisingWave)
Abstract: Everyone makes streaming sound simple – until you try bolting it onto your batch pipeline and it blows up. This talk skips the marketing gloss and gets into the real work: how to make batch and streaming actually play nice. I’ll walk through the essentials, then get into the messy parts – compaction, primary key updates, exactly-once delivery, and keeping your compute bill from spiraling. You’ll learn how to plug RisingWave into your existing stack and get real-time results without rewriting everything. It’s based on what we’ve seen in production – real problems, real fixes, no buzzwords. Customer Story: Transforming Legacy IT – From Empirical Systems to Data-Centric Architecture.Tech Talk: Driving Critical Connectivity with RisingWave
Speaker: Anders Wittfeldt (Lolo)
Abstract: Lolo Unify uses RisingWave to power real-time stream processing across billions of daily events. By combining RisingWave’s SQL-native engine with our programmable network platform, we enable dynamic CDR mediation, instant fraud detection, and event-driven triggers—without deep packet inspection or heavy integrations. For Lolo it's all about giving network control back to the customer. In this talk Anders Wittfeldt will share how we turn raw network traffic into real-time insights and actions—letting customers localize, secure, and monetize their critical asset connectivity at scale.Venue:
Lolo Company, Lindetorpsvägen 25, 11365 Stockholm.
You can take the tram (tvärbanan) to Linde, or the green subway line from Centralen to Globen or Gullmarsplan.Local and Global AI Community on Discord
