Welcome to Stockholm Anime Society.
This meetup group is a gathering place for anime and manga enthusiasts. Meet new friends and talk about your favorite Anime/Manga, games, films, TV series etc. Or share your own art and fiction! Whatever interests you have are welcome here.
We will aim to meet once per week and watch anime, or maybe go for a friendly fika. Information about each event will be posted within the event info. It is of course free to join!
We hope that this will lead to favorable social interactions and maybe more sophisticated appreciation of Japanese animation.

Join Stockholm Anime Society for a special tea-tasting journey that blends culture, history, and anime!
On Saturday the 7th of June, we'll host a tea experience, where you'll explore the rich traditions of Japanese and Chinese teas, paired with Asian sweets like Anmitsu and Yuzu Madeleine.
This is a super popular event, and we have limited spots, so join up now or regret it later.
Price: 210 kr, prepaid via Swish, no refunds as the tea & bakery catering will be ordered in advance.
Where: Knackeriet in Old Town.

On here, we will discuss future anime gatherings and we want you to be involved.
So this event page is only a "dummy" page to gather all the discussions into one page. I will push back the date every week...
We essentially want to surround ourselves with people who engage in the discussions actively and we may host private gatherings that are only accessible to activate members.
On each meetup event, we tend to add one topic. Last topic was "what is your favorite anime". Do you have any topic ideas? Post them here!
Also, we have discussed the possibility of an "Anime club" concept. This means, we watch an anime (on our free time) and then we discuss it in an analytical fashion during the fika.
