Day Hike in Tyresta

Join me for a day hike!

We will go Sörmlandsleden etapp 3, Tyresta by-Nyfors, which is 11 km. I count that it will take us about 4 hours since we will take 1-3 breaks. Without breaks the walk would be 2 hours.

It is a nice walk that passes Bylsjön and Årsjön. There are many stops on the way, where we can have lunch / fika. The views vary and we will see older and newer forest.

NB! We meet at Tyresta by at 10:30. We will start the hike at 11:00. We will finish by 15:00 at Nyfors. Please note that we do not walk in a circle. We finish at a different place. If you come by car, then you need to go back. I advice coming by public transportation. From Nyfors it takes about 1 hour to go to Central station. Yes, it is a whole day adventure! :) You will probably need to get up early to be at Tyresta by by 10:30 but trust me - it is worth it! :)

I have never been there, so I do not know the difficulty level but in Sweden trails are generally not difficult. It should be fine to walk with sneakers or hiking boots but please make sure you are comfortable. I cannot take any responsibility for your fitness level. We will, however, walk slowly.

Wear comfortable clothes and take some water and some food with you.

In case of bad weather the event will be postponed.
