What we’re about

Stockholm Interior Creative Circle (aka StICC) is a series of informal gatherings designed to bridge the gap between Stockholm’s established interior scene and the fresh perspectives of international creatives. We believe that the best work happens when photographers, set designers, and stylists have a "circle" to lean on. Join us for casual events focused on the "behind-the-scenes" of the industry: from navigating the local market to finding emotional resonance in a new environment. It’s a space for constructive mingling, seasonal fika, and the kind of knowledge-sharing that only happens off-the-clock.

The Concept.
In the world of interior photography and set design, we spend our lives perfecting the "hero shot". But behind the lens, the reality of building a creative career — especially as a newcommer in the industry or a non-native in Stockholm — requires a different kind of composition.

StICC is a regular gathering for the architects of image: photographers and videographers, stylists, set designers, content creators and art directors. This isn't a stiff networking event with business cards and pitches. It’s a collective "site visit" for the soul.

Why Join Us?
Moving your practice to a new work field, or a new city, or a new environment often means losing your network of trusted collaborators, clients, agencies, supporters. We are here to help you rebuild that ecosystem. Whether you are an established local professional or just looking to "re-launch" your portfolio in the Swedish light, this is your space to:

  • Share knowledge: discuss local brokers and agencies, equipment and gear/props rentals, or best practices to master natural lighting in the middle of winter.
  • Find support: navigate the specific practical and emotional hurdles of the freelance creative journey in the artistic yet still competitive landscape.
  • Constructive mingle: get informal feedback on a concept or simply find a collaborator for your next test shoot or project.

The Logistics.
We meet every two or three weeks in rotating public spaces — from quiet museum cafes to sun-drenched squares (if we're lucky to catch the sun in Stockholm ofc).
The language is English, the coffee is strong, and the conversation is focused on the craft. No fees, no ego, just community.

Bring your perspective, your challenges, and your love for the interior arts. See ya!
