Details

This afternoon we welcome the Swedish-Finnish sound artist/composer and Buddhist practitioner Marja Ahti. Who this afternoon will perform an Electro Acoustic piece with various electronics. Marja’s latest recording ‘Touch This Fragrant Surface of Earth’ was released as an LP on the label Fönstret in September 2025. Working with field recordings, sounds from everyday objects and materials, analogue synthesis, digital processing and acoustic instruments, she creates precise musical narratives with organically developed sequences of details and textures. Her patiently developed electroacoustic constructions suggest a poetic sphere between the acousmatic and the documentary, between abstraction and the deeply familiar. Most Welcome!

Doors open 3pm for food & fika.
Concert starts at 4pm.
Limited capacity!
