This course is part of a two year Introduction Course on Buddhist Philosophy called Discovering Buddhism.
During these first five evenings we examine the meaning of “mind” according to Buddhism, its nature and function, and how it determines our experience of happiness and suffering. We explore the differentiation between mind and brain, how mind is the creator of our experiences, and the implications of possessing a mind that has no beginning and no end. You will learn methods to transform destructive thoughts and attitudes and develop a more positive and joyous mind. Most welcome to this enlightening course!

Who can join? Everyone is welcome, regardless of previous experience of Buddhist philosophy, meditation and mindfulness. More experienced practitioners are also welcome as this is a good way to strengthen the understanding of the buddhist path,
