All right!

February 29 we will run a meetup together with digitalization consultancy Netlight and dig into the joys & woes of delivering MLOPs projects.

The format will be the similar to previous meetups with three speakers and a moderated Q&A session.

This evening, we will hear from:

• Viking Friström, Data Scientist & Albin Sundqvist, MLOps Engineer at Netlight who will give a talk titled: "From the crib to adulthood, making the ML development process mature and sustainable"
• Summary of the talk: Join this session featuring Machine Learning engineers Albin and Viking as they share insights into their MLOps journeys, addressing the challenges encountered and strategies employed. Learn about the recommended approaches for implementing MLOps in the early stages of model development, including key considerations, prioritization, and tool preferences. Gain valuable insights into post-deployment improvements and effective strategies for organizational acceptance of the new structure.
• Marcus Svensson, Data, AI & ML Consultant at - Netlight who will give a talk titled: "An MLOps Journey- Experiences from a Leading Retailer in Stockholm"
• Summary of the presentation: Data Scientist Marcus Svensson provides a firsthand account of his MLOps journey within a prominent retailer. Explore the issues faced, challenges encountered, and the successful strategies employed to navigate through them.
• Adam Hjerpe - ICA who will give a talk titled: "Vertex AI has some limits and I reached all of them"
• Summary of the presentation: Deploying a time series model in Vertex AI may initially appear straightforward, but unique attributes in the usecase can present challenges. Join Adam Hjerpe's session to gain insights into the challenges faced during deployment, how they were overcome, and the valuable lessons learned throughout the process. Ensure you are well-informed about the limitations before embarking on your own deployment journey.

The Q&A session will be moderated by our friends at Netlight.

This time, we will be gathering at Netlight's offices as Regeringsgatan 25.

A note from our venue host:

"Use the entrance to the left of Brothers. Take the staircase. You'll then see a group of small gates in-front of you, and reception to your left. At the gates you will be greeted by a colleague from Netlight who will register your attendance. You'll then take the elevator up to the 11th floor. The gates will be opened until 18.00."
