May 7 we will continue our monthly MLOps meetups! This Meetup will be sponsored by MongoDB and will once again take place at Combient's offices at Mäster Samuelsgatan. The speaker line-up has now been finalized and will include speakers from MongoDB, Ericsson and Saab!

The format will be the similar to previous meetups with three speakers and a moderated Q&A session.

Event Program

- Doors open at 17:00 CET

- Talks begin at 17:45 CET

- Pizzas from our favorite pizzeria Deglabbet arrive 19:00 CET

- And there will be beers courtesy local brewery magicians Omnipollo... (and non-alcoholic options)

This evening, we will hear from:

  • Pierre Petersson, Advisory Solutions Architect at MongoDB will give a talk titled "Revamping Data Strategy for the GenAI Revolution". In this session, we explore the transformative impact of integrating Generative AI (GenAI) within application and analytics domains. Traditionally separate, these domains often suffer from inefficiencies such as duplicated data and latency. We propose a new approach where AI and analytics are embedded directly within applications, enabling real-time, data-driven decision-making. Key discussions will include the use of MongoDB Atlas to facilitate this integration, supporting sophisticated queries and seamless ML operations. The session will also cover architectural patterns like Retrieval-Augmented Generation for enhancing AI responses with contextual data. Attendees will learn how to leverage these technologies to streamline their data strategy in the evolving landscape of GenAI.y

  • Christoffer Stuart, Strategic Product Manager at **Ericsson **will give a talk titled "AI applications in MLOps in Radio Access Networks (RAN)". The presentation will focus on current and near term use cases including challenges and opportunities an take a look at current solutions of MLOps tailored for the specific RAN applications, possibilities to use existing tools and how much has to be built from scratch.

  • Federica Comuni, Data Scientist and Data Engineer at Saab will give a talk titled "Building a data platform for the defence industry". Our team at Saab has built an on-premises platform inspired by Databricks and with open-source components to overcome challenges with security and confidentiality. The platform has allowed business areas within Saab to refine testing data from product evaluations, thus providing more insightful information for product development while maintaining compliance with security requirements. Thanks to its integration with generative AI capabilities, the platform is also shaping the future of AI development at Saab.

The Q&A session will be moderated by Harry Souris, Chief Architect (ML/AI & Data) at Silo AI.

Once again, we will have the great fortune of gathering at Combient's beautiful office at Mäster Samuelsgatan 56 (Floor 3).

See you all there!

All the best,

Patrick
