I'm happy to announce that we will run another meetup focusing on AI Governance. The meetup we ran on the same topic last time got packed and we didn't manage to cover all there is to address when it comes to MLOps and AI Goverance... So, let's revisit this important topic!

This time, we will team up with Valohai and meet up at Generator.

Event Program (to be finalized)

- Doors open at 17:00 CET

- Talks begin at 17:45 CET

- This time, pizzas will unfortunately not be provided by our favorite pizzeria Deglabbet but they will arrive 19:15 CET

- This time, beers will be provided by Brutal Brewing. There will be non-alcoholic options as well.

- The moderated Q&A session will kick off around 19:45 CET.

Speaker Line-Up (to be finalized)

  • Tarek Oraby, Head of Product at Valohai will give a talk titled "Automating AI Governance". Abstract: "AI systems introduce risk: bias, opacity, security, and compliance issues. Manual governance is slow, error-prone, and doesn't scale. This talk dives into how automation can fix that by baking governance into the MLOps stack. We will cover the different components of an automated AI governance system, and provide practical advice on designing your MLOps stack to automate governance.

  • Luis Guillermo Martínez Ballesteros, Global AI Compliance Manager at Assa Abloy Group will give a talk titled "AI Governance in a Changing Regulatory Environment". Abstract: "This presentation will explore the key challenges and opportunities arising from the evolving regulatory landscape for AI. We will discuss how organizations can navigate these complexities to harness the power of AI while mitigating risks."

  • Amit Prabhu, Data & AI Lead at Accenture, will give a talk titled "Scaling Generative AI: An Operational Readiness Framework for Enterprises". Abstract: "Different enterprises have reacted differently to the generative AI hype. The real value of generative AI lies in the scaled adoption. Only 10 percent of the enterprises have been able to scale. A staggering 90 percent of them are lagging. This has caused a “huge gap” between the scaling and lagging firms. Closing this huge gap is a daunting task. To bridge this gap, enterprises must be operationally ready. Find out how?" Amit is a Data and AI Consultant consulting clients across various industries. Author of two business books, Digital Strategy Framework and Digital Leadership Framework. GenAI/AI Speaker at various global events. Corporate trainer on AI Leadership and GenAI technical bootcamps.

See you all Thursday!
