All right!!!

Our next meetup will take place November 20 at AI Sweden!

This time, we'll focus on the Life Sciences.

This time, we're teaming up with AMD as our sponsor and we will once again have the privilege of collaborating with AI Sweden who will once again host us

The program details are still being worked out, so stay tuned for further updates!

Event Program

Speaker Line-Up TBD.

  • Per Hillertz, One IT Site Lead at Astrazeneca and David Björelind, Data Scientist at AMD will give a talk titled: "Optimising models for drug development - best practises with AstraZeneca". Abstract TBD.
  • Harry Souris, Product Architect Enterprise AI at AMD and Levent Güner, Senior Member of Technical Staff at AMD will give a talk titled "LLM fine-tuning for genetics". Abstract TBD.
  • Marcel Kaminski, Full Stack Developer at Holisticon Connect, will give a talk titled "Data validation AI Agent for Pharma and Biotech". Abstract: The presentation explores how pharmaceutical and biotech organisations can safely and effectively adopt Generative AI by building a strong foundation of data validation and governance. It explains the four major blockers limiting trust in GenAI-poor data quality, inconsistent outputs, domain-specific language challenges, and the lack of predictive capabilities-and shows how these issues impact scientific, operational, and regulatory decision-making. We will present a practical, five-component framework that connects data governance, modern data architecture, machine learning models, GenAI solutions, and an automated Validation AI-Agent. Through diagrams and real use-case logic, the talk demonstrates how to move from fragmented, unreliable data to a validated, compliant AI ecosystem capable of delivering trustworthy and reproducible results. This session is designed for leaders and teams aiming to scale AI safely while strengthening regulatory readiness, decision speed, and competitive advantage in pharma..
  • Fatemeh Rahimian, Senior Researcher at RISE, will give a talk titled "MIMER AI Factory: Powering Europe’s Next Wave of AI Innovation". Abstract: The MIMER AI Factory, hosted by Linköping University and RISE, is a cornerstone of the EuroHPC JU initiative to strengthen Europe’s AI ecosystem. Combining world-class supercomputing power with hands-on AI expertise, MIMER enables researchers, companies, and public organizations to develop, test, and deploy advanced AI models. In this talk, I’ll introduce the MIMER AI Factory and its key focus areas, with particular emphasis on the Life Science theme. I’ll discuss the main areas of engagement within this domain and highlight how MIMER supports AI-driven research and innovation, as well as outline opportunities for collaboration and access to our supercomputing resources and professional services.
  • Nita Mulliqi, Postdoc at Karolinska Institutet & Co-founder of Clinsight Analytics will give a talk titled: "Towards clinically reliable artificial intelligence for prostate cancer pathology". Abstract TBD.

Looking forward to seeing you there,
/Patrick
