Ride of Red Rising Phoenix

Hello and welcome!

It is time to open the season 2021, as spring is just around the corner!
For the first ride we set off close to Postnord HQ building in Solna, continue through Kungsholmen and western tip of Södermalm to Gröndal, Alvik, Ulvsunda back to Solna and make a long circle around Vasastan into Norra Djurgården, Hjorthagen and back through Kungsholmen to the Two towers on Torsplan, not far from the bicycle fit entrance to Odenplan pendel.

The entire length is around 40km on mostly empty mixed urban/forest/waterfront environments with great spots for vistas. Plan is not to go fast but far for this time. Feel free to join or drop off at any time, just get in touch with me to meet on the way!

Weather seems to be pleasant and a bit chill to the night, consider layers for clothing and extra wind protection.

Some other useful things to consider:

• bike lights and visibility clothes
• helmet
• 1+ liter clear water
• power banks for phones and devices

We are going to have plenty of stops to snack and rest, and take some pictures.

Please also respect the health care recommendations and abstain from joining if you have any symptoms and consider keeping appropriate distance during the ride.
