The Northern Wilds

Hello everyone!

I thought I'd try my hand at organizing a night ride. Instead of the inner city we'll head off to a 1000-year-old cultural landscape with runestones.

We'll stick to paved and gravel roads and avoid urban areas since I don't trust my ability to lead a larger group through the traffic-separated labyrinths that these suburbs are. The plan is to go Postnord - Hallonbergen - Ursvik - Rinkeby - Tensta - Hjulsta - Granholmstoppen (see event picture) - Akalla - Husby - Kista - Kymlinge - Järva - Frösunda - Haga.

Plan is to keep about 10km/h average (including stops) and finish around 10pm. Feel free to join or drop off at any time.

Weather seems to be pleasant and a bit chill to the night, consider layers for clothing and extra wind protection.

Some other useful things to consider:

• bike lights and visibility clothes
• helmet
• 1+ liter clear water
• power banks for phones and devices

We are going to have some of stops to snack, rest, and take some pictures.
