Work can feel like a live experiment in uncertainty: deadlines arrive faster than coffee, requirements change like weather forecasts, stakeholder moods fluctuate like crypto—and your calendar is basically Tetris on hard mode...

The good news? We can’t control the plot, but we can train ourselves to stay steadier, clearer, and more effective inside it. Stoicism offers surprisingly practical tools for exactly that.

Stockholm Stoicism Association invites you to the seminar “Be Stoic at Work.” Think of Stoicism as a workplace “operating system”: shifting from anxious rumination to the next controllable step—then applying Stoic tools to real scenarios such as stress & deadlines, tough stakeholders, and uncertainty.

The event has two parts:

  • 30-minute presentation
  • 90-minute group discussion (practice, share, and apply the tools together)

Friendly note: the speaker is a philosophy enthusiast, sharing personal reflections from applying Stoicism at work—not a professional philosopher or academic.

Let work test and build your character, not steal your peace.
