Dear friends,

The Stockholm Stoic MeetUp group invites you to a thematic presentation on the stoics' views on truth-telling. Focus will be put on three questions: Why should one tell the truth? When should one tell the truth? How should one tell the truth? The answers to these questions will then be contrasted to the views of the ancient greek cynics.

Note that this event will be a paid event.
*30 *SEK for non-members, Pay at gate!
Free for members, annual-membership= 50 SEK can be paid at gate.

The presentation, which is expected to last between 30 to 40 minutes, will be followed by an open discussion in smaller groups which, in turn, will be closed of with a short summary of the discussions by the presenter at the end of the meeting.

The meeting is also an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals in the Stockholm Stoic Meetup group and reflect on how we can live a life guided by stoic philosophy.

None of the organizers themselves are philosophers by profession nor degree. We are just laymen who are very interested in stoic philosophy. So, do not feel discouraged if you are not used to philosophical discussions. Everyone is welcome and we always try to keep the discussion easy-going and practical.

Best regards,
Patryk Sapa
