More than 2,000 years ago, the Stoics were wrestling with a question that feels surprisingly modern: What makes wise action possible?

In this talk, we’ll explore Stoicism not as a collection of ancient life hacks, but as a practical framework for cultivating human agency — our capacity to perceive reality more clearly, exercise better judgment, make intentional choices, and act wisely in an increasingly complex world.

We’ll begin with a 30-minute presentation, followed by around 90 minutes of open discussion, where different perspectives meet, assumptions are challenged, and the conversation often becomes just as interesting as the talk itself.
