Night Time Tales - Stories After Dark
Details
Thanks so much for everyone who joined us for the first Night Time tales edition of Storytelling. Time for another. :)
We have shared so many beautiful evenings together — stories of unexpected humour, adventurous travels, shocks of culture, daring loves, sweet friendships, diverse experiences, and surprising revelations.
But now we have the chance to once again gather after sunset to share the stories of the night? There’s something about night that changes the way stories are told.
The hustle and bustle of the city slows into quietness. Shadows stretch, sounds sharpen, and the smallest flicker of light feels warmer. Words seem to travel further. Darkness wraps us in a cozy blanket, and every soft word becomes a secret shared only between those still awake.
Night frees the imagination — it blurs the edges of reality and invites us to wander into places we might not go in daylight. In the magic of night, every story feels just a little more alive.
I have spent sleepless nights with friends and strangers, listening to tales of myths and legends, ghosts and magic, life and death, illusion and reality.
To continue the streak from september, I’d like to extend the warmest invitation to meet again at Pygméteatern, the old theatre near Odenplan for October's Night time tales.
It will be a relaxed, open space where everyone is welcome — whether you wish to share a personal story from your life or an intriguing tale you’ve read or heard.
If you’d rather just listen, you’re welcome too.
The event is free as always and will start at 21:00, with doors opening at 20:45.
Added Note:
If you love improvisational theatre, you might want to check out https://www.meetup.com/sthlm-art-improvised-theatre for an amazing improv show happening just before our storytelling event, in the same theatre. But this would require a separate ticket. So check their page for more info if you are interested.
