Qt Sweden C++ summer fest

Welcome to the Cute Sweden C++ summer fest!

The Topic: As the name says, Qt.

I am happy to announce that for this summer fest we will have speakers from Göteborg - Johan and Kumla - Tobias.

The program:
17:30 - 18:00 Welcome, have a drink
18:00 - 18:45 Talk 1, Johan, A tour of Qt
18:45 - 19:45 Food and drink
19:45 - 20:30 Talk 2 Tobias, Qt creator
20:30 - 21:00 fade out

Talk 1:
We take a tour of Qt from a bird's eye view. What is it? How does it work - and why? The tour will be based around code examples and what Qt brings to C++. We also look briefly at QML, Qt's declarative language, and Qt with modern C++.

Talk 2:
Qt creator, the IDE, an overview and introduction in how to use Qt creator for your advantage.

Speakers:
Johan Thelin, co-organizers of gbgcpp, the Göteborg C++ community, organizer of FOSS-north and FOSS-gbg , author of the QmlBook, Qt expert and developer from Pelagicore

Tobias Nätterlund from KDAB, the global No.1 software consultancy for Qt, C++ and OpenGL applications across desktop, embedded and mobile platforms.

I am optimistic that at least the one or other additional visitor form gbgcpp, the Gothenburg C++ community, will come to visit this event. A great opportunity to talk and get in contact! Let us welcome them in Stockholm.
