Mission Peak Hike - changed from Morgan Territory

DUE TO ROAD CLOSURE, THIS HIKE HAS BEEN CHANGED TO MISSION PEAK @ 10 miles.
I will repeat Morgan Territory at a later date.

Lets get active before those chicken wings & nachos for Super Bowl weekend. 🏈

The beautiful rolling hills just N of Livermore is where you will find Morgan Territory. We will be hiking 7-8 miles, with an elev gain of approx 1700ft. This hike is considered moderate +. Not for beginners unless you like to challenge yourself.
Morgan Territory is a stunning & remote 5 thousand acre preserve, nestled in the Diablo hills just south of Mt Diablo. Ridge top views are the highlight to this hike.
Wildlife is often seen in this area, and we likely will share trails with some grazing cows. Moo...🐄 Dress in layers and remember to stay on trails.

Trails will consist of both sun and shade.
Temp high should be around 58° but cool at start.
Restrooms are available at trailhead.

What to bring: Plenty of water (2 ltr+), sunscreen, food/ snacks, hiking poles if needed, cash for drive & your adventurous spirit.

VOLUNTEER drivers are always appreciated and will be compensated at drivers discretion.
