Redwood Regional Hike - Oakland
Details
This hike will be set in the beautiful forest of the Oakland Hills. The trails will be moderate at around 7-8 miles and under 1,000ft gain. It will be at a good pace. I do not recommend for beginners unless you like to challenge yourself as these trails consist of easy & more difficult routes. We will begin at the West Ridge trailhead off Redwood Rd overflow parking. From there we will continue onto Orchard, Chown, French, Tres Sendas trails and finish w/ the beautiful & shady Stream trail. We will stop mid-way for a short rest & snack break.
If all agree, we will plan to stop in Livermore for a post hike meal, for those that are able, before heading back to Manteca.
CARPOOLING will be available at Starbuck's in Manteca @ 2168 Daniel's St.
We will wait for 10 mins.
--if meeting @ TRAILHEAD be there by 9:30 am. Wayside parking lot, which will be on left before entering park kiosk. It is the large lot w/ a restroom nearby. Please be on time.
