Morgan Territory Hike

The beautiful rolling hills just N of Livermore is where you will find Morgan Territory. We will be hiking 7-8 miles, with an elev gain of approx 1700ft. This hike is considered moderate +. Not for beginners unless you like to challenge yourself.
Morgan Territory is a stunning & remote 5 thousand acre preserve, nestled in the Diablo hills just south of Mt Diablo. Ridge top views are the highlight to this hike.
Wildlife is often seen in this area, and we likely will share trails with some cows. Moo...🐄 BE AWARE, that poison oak is growing abundantly this year. Dress accordingly and remember to stay on trails.
Trails will consist of both sun and shade.

Restrooms are available at trailhead.
We will plan on getting a bite to eat post hike if agreed upon with a stop in Livermore or Tracy.

What to bring: Plenty of water (2 ltr+), sunscreen, food/ snacks, hiking poles if needed, cash for driver, money for late lunch & your adventurous spirit.

VOLUNTEER drivers are always appreciated and will be compensated at drivers discretion.
