Farewell Dance Party

Join us Friday, August 19th, for a special night celebrating one of our O.G. Stomptown dancers, Aspen, who is sadly moving away and this will be her last night of dance, so the night will be filled with all her favorite line dances, as well as WCS, two step, and waltz. We will also have some refreshments. So please come join us and give Aspen a fond and fun farewell!

Dance begins at 7:30pm, Aspen will teach the line dance “La Mucara”. No dance experience or partner necessary, we welcome everyone! The cover charge is $10.

Stomptown dances are vaccine-only. Please plan to show your vaccine card (or photo) if it's your first time with us. Boosters are strongly recommended. We recommend masks, especially for those with increased risk. All choices around masks will be respected. If you keep a mask on hand (literally- on your wrist!) it's a sign to another dancer that you would be happy to mask up to dance with them. Dance with Joy Studios is located up a flight of stairs, and Stomptown uses both the main floor and a secondary floor down a flight of stairs for some lessons. Lighting is low during the dance with no flashing lights. DwJ is in a residential neighborhood. Parking is available on the street. Bus lines are 70 and 19 with a small walk.
