Stoneham Reads Banned Books Week Kick-off in Stoneham

Meet up at The Book Oasis on Sunday, October 4th, 1-2pm, to learn more about Banned Books Week and show your support for the freedom to read.
- Enter our free raffle to win a book!
Books donated by Stoneham Reads and The Book Oasis
- Learn what books have been most challenged and why, which have been banned or blocked, and who is behind those efforts.
- A handful of people should not be allowed to dictate what the rest of us can read! Organized groups have used fear and disinformation to silence stories and remove books from our libraries, schools, and bookstores.
Books are for everyone. Books should be read. Books should be uncensored. Let Books Be. Protect the Freedom to Read.
