What we're about

#storagebeers are regular informal social events held around the world for geeks and non-geeks interested in vendor-neutral discussions on the vagaries of data and storage. They're generally held at pubs/bars, either independently or around conferences and events like the Data Storage Innovation (DSI) Conference (http://www.dsicon.org) and the Storage Developer Conference (SDC) (http://www.storagedeveloper.org).

Look for an upcoming event near you, or create your own (you only need to get 3 members to sign up for it to be automatically announced to the group). No presentations. No formality. Real discussions. Real beer.

This MeetUp group appeals to Storage Professionals, Storage Developers, System/Storage Administrators, Storage Architects, Storage Enthusiasts, Storage Bloggers, and Beer Geeks.

For more information on the origins of #storagebeers please read this post (http://www.storagebod.com/wordpress/?page_id=405) by Martin Glassborow, Storagebod.
