CONEY ISLAND BEACH YOGA

on the sand off West 19th Street

Sliding scale: $10/$15/$20

Come join me as we practice yoga to the sound of the waves! We will practice on the beach in Coney Island off West 19th Street. This is an open-level yoga class, designed to accommodate all levels of yoga experience. All bodies are welcome!

You will need to bring your own yoga mat or towel. You will also need to fill out a one-time participation waiver form in your first class.

DIRECTIONS: When you get on the boardwalk, turn right towards the baseball stadium, in the opposite direction of the Aquarium. We will be somewhere on the sand across from the Abe Stark Sports Center.

SUBWAYS: D, Q, F, N trains to Coney Island

About Chia-Ti: I have been teaching yoga for over 22 years. I love that I get to teach on the beach in my borough! I teach yoga to elders, adults and teens in person and over Zoom. I also lead international yoga retreats (next one to Taiwan in Nov 2025!). I believe yoga is a privilege that should be accessible, affordable, and relevant to all who wish to practice.
