StoryCode’s Immersions are a “get your hands dirty” series of working sessions meant to educate and share knowledge about the various complexities involved in creating successful immersive media projects. These sessions are highly interactive and intimate.

This will be hosted in the "VIP Room / Flex Space" near Lincoln Center Elinor Bunin Hall. The space is off to the left if you are looking at the Elinor Bunin theater entrance. It is where we had post-meetup drinks after the November 2011 StoryCode Forum.

This StoryCode Immersion will be focused on Business - specifically project funding, where to go and what are the options. It will be broken into two parts:

Part 1 will be led by Mike Knowlton and will focus on indie DIY tools, investors, conferences, markets, and grant options.

Part 2 will be led by Sparrow Hall and will look at ways storytellers can partner with brands to produce their stories, develop business relationships, garner funding, and tap into a built in audience.

This session is geared towards cross-media storytellers and producers who are looking for guidance on the various approaches to funding their projects.
