PR Research & Innovation MeetUp in AR, VR and MR

The Puerto Rico Science, Technology & Research Trust carries out a series of Meet-ups to foster alignment among activities that are focused on the commercialization potential of scientific and technological research.

With the intention of elevating the dialogue regarding the emergence of new immersive technologies like Augmented Reality (AR) ,Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (MR) and their impact on the way we do business, science, research, education and entertainment in Puerto Rico, the Trust and StoryCode:Puerto Rico are pleased to host this event.

We will have the participation of researchers, academics, developers, makers, entrepreneurs, and other important stakeholders in this emerging value chain, as we engage in a dialogue around topics, such as:

• How to engage emerging market opportunities,

• Perspectives for the local development of a AR/VR ecosystem

• Presentation of various endeavors that are leading the way in the local scene.

The event will take place on Friday, August 25th, 2017, at the Innovation Center of the Puerto Rico Science Research, Technology, at Monacillos, Road #21, Río Piedras; from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Spaces are limited.
