Storyhouse Cafe & Bar hosts English hangouts, Ukulele Club, holiday parties, nomikais, private music concerts, open mic sessions, Irish music sessions, and other random events! Most events are free entry, just come with good spirits, and make an order at the cafe bar. These events are open to everyone regardless of nationality or language abilities. So whether you're a university student or a retiree, come join us for a fun time!

Let's enjoy a great live Irish music session and plenty of drinks!
Live music played by Shinshu University's S-Celts Irish music group. Shinshu University created their Irish music circle over 10 years ago, and they are really good! There are usually 20 or more musicians that come out for the Irish session. They bring fiddles, banjos, guitars, bodhran (Irish drum), spoons, hammered dulcimers, mandolins, accordions, and other instruments I don't even know!
Whether you know how to play Irish music, or you just like being in that awesome Irish puob environment, you will definitely enjoy this night! They hold this session every month at Storyhouse.
