Storytime Open Mic

Please join us on Weds. @ 8pm for a chance to enjoy the work of fellow storytellers, and to share your own. Great opportunity to test drive your story slam, comedy routine, original music, short story, poetry, monologue, digital project, business presentation, or almost anything indie with a friendly, receptive audience.

The storytellers project is your local venue for General Audience storytelling which can be 1) based on authentic life experiences, 2) your own works of fiction or 3) inspired by our "storyboard" prompts. We'll feature short stories, poetry, prose, spoken word and song, digital media, short film, documentary, clean comedy and more. Your creativity will dictate content and formats.

If you plan to dive right in, no need to sign up for your presentation (5-10 mins. on average) If you have any questions about content or anything else, just select "storytellers project" from the members list, and click the Chat icon to message me. We'll sometimes post an image that can be used as inspiration for your presentation, to our "storyboard" as a prompt (look for upcoming prompt images above) .
